Coles Book Club event - Thursday 20th June 2019 @ 7.00pm - Catherine Steadman - Something In The Water

This is our June 'Coles Book Club' event, an opportunity to meet the author of the book you've just read. We are offering our customers a title we've selected for you to read and the chance to come along to the 'Coles Book Club' for an evening with the author - it's an opportunity to discuss the book with other readers, ask the author questions about the book, have a glass of wine and a general natter about books - just like a book club.

Buy the 'Book Club' book for £7.99 either here online, or in the shop in Bicester, enjoy reading it and then come along to the bookshop on 20th June and meet the author Catherine Steadman for an evening of discussion. And of course, get your book signed by Catherine on the evening - the book you buy from Coles is your ticket for the evening.

A little about the book: 'Something In The Water'

The perfect couple.
The perfect crime?

‘Deftly paced, elegantly chilly thriller… Steadman brings similar qualities of wit, timing and intelligence to this novel… a proper page-turner’ New York Times

Erin is a documentary filmmaker on the brink of a professional breakthrough; Mark a handsome investment banker with a bright future. They seem to have it all. But do they? On a dream honeymoon to the tropical island of Bora Bora, Mark takes Erin scuba diving. Everything is perfect. Until they find something in the water. Something that will change their lives forever. Erin and Mark decide to keep their discovery a secret. No one else need know; they trust each other implicitly.

But someone else does know. And in situations like these, it is far better to trust no one, not even those closest to you …
