About the Authors: Julian Fellowes was educated at Ampleforth and Magdalene College, Cambridge, Julian Fellowes is a multi-award-winning actor, writer, director and producer. As creator, sole writer and executive producer of the hit television series DOWNTON ABBEY, Fellowes has won three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. He received the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for GOSFORD PARK (2002). Julian Fellowes became a life peer in 2011. He lives in Dorset and London with his wife, Emma.
Emma Marriott is the author of a number of high-profile non-fiction and popular history titles, including The World of Vanity Fair, The World of Poldark, The History of the World in Bite-Sized Chunks and Bad History. She has also ghost-written books for some major names and is a former in-house senior editor. Emma lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and three children.
