Six Tudor Queens : Katheryn Howard, The Tainted Queen by Alison Weir

Hand Signed by Alison Weir to Title Page
Hardback Edition
New & Unread - Published 2020

A NAIVE YOUNG WOMAN AT THE MERCY OF HER AMBITIOUS FAMILY.

At just nineteen, Katheryn Howard is quick to trust and fall in love. She comes to court. She sings, she dances. She captures the heart of the King. Henry declares she is his rose without a thorn. But Katheryn has a past of which he knows nothing. It comes back increasingly to haunt her. For those who share her secrets are waiting in the shadows, whispering words of love… and blackmail.

KATHERYN HOWARD
THE FIFTH OF HENRY’S QUEENS.
HER STORY.

Acclaimed, bestselling historian Alison Weir draws on extensive research to recount one of the most tragic tales in English history – that of a lively, sweet but neglected girl, used by powerful men for their own gain. History tells us she died too soon. This mesmerising novel brings her to life.

About the Author: Alison Weir is the top-selling female historian (and the fifth-bestselling historian overall) in the United Kingdom, and has sold over 3 million books worldwide. She has published eighteen history books, including her most recent non-fiction book, Queens of the Conquest, the first in her England’s Medieval Queens quartet. Alison has also published several historical novels, including Innocent Traitor and The Lady Elizabeth. Katheryn Howard, The Tainted Queen is Alison Weir’s tenth published novel and the fifth in the Six Tudor Queens series about the wives of Henry VIII, which was launched in 2016 to great critical acclaim. All four books in the series are Sunday Times bestsellers. Alison is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an honorary life patron of Historic Royal Palaces.

We use courier and signed for delivery services, so please use an address at which your parcel can be signed for during the normal working day. Due to a printing error, these books are missing the Copyright and Edition information which is normally printed on the Verso (reverse) of the Title Page.
