The rain is raining all around…

The sky has become heavy and leaden; it looks unable to hold its own weight and soon the torrents will fall. The liquid harvest long overdue, raindrops the size of cherries bouncing off every surface, the ground as hard as concrete, it’s given up on sponge-like qualities weeks ago.
Rain by Robert Louis Stevenson

It rains on the umbrellas here,
And on the ships at sea.

Whilst the middle of July may not bring some of the biggest releases of the year, it does give some underdog titles a chance to emerge champion. Leigh Radford’s One Yellow Eye brings us zombie apocalypse; comedian Mark Watson tells the unlikely story of a food delivery driver in One Minute Away; The Three Ravens podcast delve into folklore from all English counties; Mark Blake gives a potted history of Fleetwood Mac in Dreams; and Ross Welford brings us the hilarious story of Prince Kal, an alien who’s lost his way back to his home planet.
