It’s a funny old world, barely a day goes by without another (often unwelcome) software upgrade or a new version of your six month old phone being released, and yet why are more and more of us listening to our music on vinyl records, a technology which was created by men in sheds over 100 years ago? Three million vinyl records were sold in the UK last year, an increase of over 50% on the previous year – we just can’t get enough of the black stuff.
Book Shop News
With the latest lockdown in place, the shop is now closed for browsing. However, we will be at the shop in Bicester from Monday to Friday (9am to 5.30pm) each week processing online and click & collect orders. If there is anything we can help with, please do call on 01869 320779 during those hours or email us info@coles-books.co.uk.
Coles have teamed up with Bicester Bug, the town bike users group, starting a trial period where we will make the majority of our local deliveries by bike. Our bespoke wrapping and packaging, all recyclable (even our green mailing bags are compostable and can be used for food waste), is being used for local deliveries to ensure your books are delivered in perfect condition.
