About the Author: Teresa Carmody (she/they) is a writer of fiction, creative nonfiction, inter-arts collaborations, and hybrid forms. Their recent collection of autofictions, A Healthy Interest in the Lives of Others, is out with Autofocus Books. She is also the author of The Reconception of Marie (Spuyten Duyvil 2020), Maison Femme: a fiction (bon air 2015), and Requiem, recently released in a new edition by punctum books (2025). Their writing has appeared in LitHub, Los Angeles Review of Books, Michigan Quarterly Review, Matters of Feminist Practice, WaterStone Review, Lifework: On the Autobiographical Impulse in Contemporary Art, Writing, and Theory, and elsewhere. She currently lives in Omaha and teaches in the Writer's Workshop and low-residency MFA in Creative Writing Program at University of Nebraska Omaha. Her Covid novel, Pipette, was published in 2022 with Ravenna Press, and she is the author of Oh Baby (Ravenna Press 2008), Pretty (White Wine Press 2010), Veer (Ravenna Press 2017), Shot Girls (Ravenna Press 2018), Wetsuit (Ravenna Press 2019), and Snowdog (Ravenna Press 2021), as well as Pistol, which appears in the anthology Triple No. 3 (Ravenna Press 2012). She's received three Pushcart Prizes, is senior editor of New World Writing Quarterly, associate editor of Midwest Review, chief editor of ELJ (Elm Leaves Journal), and director of SUNY-Buffalo State University's writing major. She's published widely, in journals and anthologies including NOON, Conjunctions, StoryQuarterly, Fiction, Notre Dame Review, The Nation, Buffalo Noir, Short: An International Anthology of Five Centuries of Short-Short Stories, Prose Poems, Brief Essays, and Other Short Prose Forms, The Female Complaint: Tales of Unruly Women, The Lineup: 20 Provocative Women Writers, The & Now Award: The Best Innovative Writing, New Micro: Exceptionally Short Fiction, and others. She is a competitive triathlete, a USA Triathlon Certified Official, and she lives with her three dogs in Tonawanda, New York.Allison Pitinii Davis, PhD, is the author of Line Study of a Motel Clerk (Baobab Press, 2017), a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and the Ohioana Book Award, and Poppy Seeds (Kent State University Press, 2013) winner of the Wick Poetry Chapbook Prize. Her creative writing and scholarship have appeared in Best American Poetry, POETS.org, The Oxford American, The New Republic, Studies in American Jewish Literature, and elsewhere. She has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Stanford University's Wallace Stegner program, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. In Fall 2025, she will join Ohio State University as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Poetry.

UK Delivery
Orders for delivery in the UK are normally despatched by Royal Mail, using the RM 48 Tracked Service with most orders delivered to you within a few days of placing your order with us. For larger parcels, Courier and Signed For delivery services may be used. Signed Books are shipped in our specially made book mailing cartons, with the books themselves wrapped in paper to protect them. Sometimes we may ship your order in several parts, particularly if you have 'Pre-Order' titles in your order or titles which are held in stock with our publishing partners.
The Really Important Bit: Because we use tracked, courier and signed for delivery services, please use an address at which your parcel can be received during the normal working day, for example, you may want to have your order delivered to your work address if you're not at home during the day.

Another Really Important Bit: There are a number of Postcodes in the UK for which we will need to charge a shipping supplement, this will be calculated once we know the size and weight of the shipment. For these orders we will contact customers to agree a suitable and economic method of shipping. There may also be additional time required for delivery to some areas of the United Kingdom. Where possible, we will ship book orders (under 2kg) by Royal Mail to all UK postcodes. Large multiple book orders and books over 2kg are often shipped via APC Overnight or similar, regardless of Postcode.

In some cases, particularly large and heavy books, or books being shipped to remote areas, may incur an additional shipping charge - if this is the case with your order, we'll notify you as quickly as possible of these charges and to arrange the additional payment. You can of course cancel your order with an immediate refund should you not wish to accept these additional costs. Coming by Car
If you're coming to Coles by car, why not take advantage of the 2 hours free parking at Sainsbury's Pioneer Square - just follow the signs for Pioneer Square as you drive into Bicester and park in the multi-storey car park above the supermarket. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. You don't need to shop in Sainsbury's to get the free parking!
