About the Author: Laxman Raju Thoutam is Assistant Professor at Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine, Amrita Vishwa Vidypeetham, Kochi, India. Dr. Thoutam has more than 10 years of cleanroom fabrication experience in the design and development of novel micron and nanoscale devices and heterostructures for functional applications. Dr. Thoutam did his postdoctoral research on the synthesis and characterization of high-quality complex oxide thin films and heterostructures for functional device applications at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Nanoscience (2016) and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (2011) from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, USA. He serves as a referee for many international repute journals and has worked as a committee member for international materials science conferences and workshops. His primary research focuses on exploring the structure-property relationships of low-dimensional material systems. His present research area includes implementation of novel electrostatic gating techniques to different material systems; analysis of fundamental electronic transport in semimetals, complex oxide perovskite thin films and heterostructures, wide band gap semiconductors, and low-dimensional materials.J. Ajayan received his B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kerala University in 2009, M.Tech and Ph.D. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya University, Coimbatore, INDIA, in 2012 and 2017 respectively. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SR University, Telangana, India. He has published more than 150 research articles (including 70 SCI articles) in various journals and international conferences. He has published three books, more than 20 book chapters, and 3 patents. He is a reviewer of more than 30 journals in various publishers. He is a Guest Editor with various journals. He has served more than 10 conferences on the technical advisory/reviewer committee. His areas of interest are microelectronics, semiconductor devices, nanotechnology, RF-integrated circuits, and photovoltaics.D. Nirmal is Full Professor and Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. He specialized in VLSI Design after his Bachelor of Engineering and received his Ph.D in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University. His research interests include nanoelectronics, GaN technology, device and circuit simulation - GSL, sensors, HEMT, beyond 5G, nanoscale device design and modelling. He is a founding chair of IEEE Electron Device Society Coimbatore chapter and volunteered for several committees in IEEE. He has a funding project tune of 1.2 Cores from various agencies like DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), and AICTE(All India Council of Technical Education). He is a recipient of various awards namely IEI-Young Engineer award, IETE Smt. Manorama Rathore memorial award 2022 from IETE and Young Scientist Award 2019 from the Academy of Sciences. Professor Nirmal has made more than 150+ peer reviewed research publications and three patents to his credits. He is also a Senior IEEE member. He has delivered many keynote talks and lectures in national and international level conferences/faculty development programs.

Orders for delivery in the UK are despatched by Courier and Signed For delivery services and will normally be delivered to you within a few days of placing your order. Signed Books are shipped in our specially made book mailing cartons, with the books themselves wrapped in paper to protect them. Sometimes we may ship your order in several parts, particularly if you have 'Pre-Order' titles in your order or titles which are held in stock with our publishing partners.

The Really Important Bit: Because we use courier and signed for delivery services, please use an address at which your parcel can be signed for during the normal working day, for example, you may want to have your order delivered to your work address if you're not at home during the day.

Another Really Important Bit: There are a number of Postcodes in the UK for which we will need to charge a shipping supplement, this will be calculated once we know the size and weight of the shipment. Where possible, we will ship single book orders (under 2kg) by Royal Mail to all UK postcodes. Multiple book orders and books over 2kg are shipped via APC Overnight, regardless of Postcode.

Coming by Car

If you're coming to Coles by car, why not take advantage of the 2 hours free parking at Sainsbury's Pioneer Square - just follow the signs for Pioneer Square as you drive into Bicester and park in the multi-storey car park above the supermarket. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. You don't need to shop in Sainsbury's to get the free parking!
